1000A 18V High Current Pulse Current Source HCPL100 Programmable Power Supply

The HCPL100 series high - current pulse power supply is a pulse constant - current source. It features high output current (1000A), steep pulse edges (15μs), support for two - channel pulse voltage measurement (peak sampling), and support for output polarity switching. The device can be applied to testing scenarios that require high current, such as Schottky diodes, rectifier bridge stacks, IGBT devices, IGBT half - bridge modules, IPM modules, etc. Using this device, "current - on - state voltage" sweep testing can be independently completed.

Product Features

Current output per unit ranges from 5A to 1000A, and multiple units can be connected in parallel for output, with the total current reaching up to 6000A.

Adjustable current pulse width from 50μs to 500μs, with a 15μs rise - time (typical time), which reduces the heating of the device under test during the testing process and makes the test results more accurate.

Two - channel voltage synchronous acquisition, with the measured voltage range from 0 - 18V. It can support the simultaneous testing of the upper and lower transistors of the half - bridge module, improving the testing efficiency.

Supports the reversal of the current output polarity. To test Vce(sat) and Vf, only the corresponding commands need to be sent, without the need to add an additional external switching switch.

The output and measurement accuracy of the device is 0.1%.

Supports automatic sampling without the need for an external acquisition card.

Applications

Schottky Diode: Used for testing the instantaneous forward voltage of Schottky diodes, it can provide high-current pulses to simulate high-current conditions in actual operation, accurately measuring its performance parameters under high current.

Rectifier Bridge Stack: It can perform "current-conduction voltage" scan testing on the rectifier bridge stack, detecting its conduction performance and voltage variations at different currents, and evaluating its quality and performance.

IGBT Devices: Capable of testing parameters such as the on-state voltage drop and bond wire impedance of IGBTs, it aids engineers in understanding the operating state of IGBTs under high-current pulses and judging whether they meet design requirements and quality standards.

IGBT Half-Bridge Modules, IPM Modules: For IGBT half-bridge modules and IPM modules, tests such as IGBT on-state voltage drop, diode instantaneous forward voltage, and bond wire impedance can be completed, providing data support for module performance evaluation and quality inspection.

High-Current Sensor Testing: Suitable for testing the (step) response time of high-current sensors. By outputting high-current pulses, it simulates the high-current step conditions in actual sensor operation, tests the sensor's response speed and accuracy to current changes, and evaluates the sensor's performance indicators.
